SFFMA works closely with members of the Texas State Legislature to ensure the needs of our first responders throughout the state are addressed in every way possible.

Every SFFMA individual member is automatically covered by Volunteer Fire Insurance Services of Texas for a $10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment, $20,000 On-Duty Accidental Death Benefit, and $5,000 severe burn coverage.

SFFMA’s robust certification program is available to every individual member. Certifications offered are based upon the applicable NFPA standard for each discipline. A feature of the program allows for training to be recorded and tracked so that each member can see their progress toward obtaining the various SFFMA certifications.
